Our website code uses no analytics or advertising cookies. There is no “accept all” choice because there are no optional tracking integrations on this website.
01 At a glance
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by your browser. Local storage is another way to remember information on your device; unlike cookies, it is not automatically sent with every website request.
This page covers the Amper website and web studio, developed by Argentum Group, an independent, unregistered developer group in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina. It does not describe the storage used by a future released Android app.
02 What is stored
Remembering the information notice
When you choose “Got it,” we save amper_cookie_notice_v1 in local storage. It contains only the acknowledgement time. We use it for 180 days to avoid showing the same notice on each visit, then remove it when you return. Our page code does not send this value to a server.
This records a dismissal, not permission for marketing or analytics. Storage is separate for each website address and browser. If your browser blocks storage, the notice can still be dismissed for the current page.
Your guest gear collection
When you add or remove equipment in the web studio, amper_guest_gear_v1 stores the selected catalog identifiers in local storage. This lets the studio remember one guitar, one amp and up to two pedals. It stays until you clear it or your browser removes site data. Guest equipment is not automatically uploaded. When signed in, changes to My gear are stored in your account instead. Remove individual models in My gear, or clear this site's local storage to remove the entry. Resetting the cookie notice does not erase your gear.
Signing in and recovering an account
When you use an account, api.ampertones.com sets necessary cookies to keep your session secure. They are sent only over HTTPS, cannot be read by website JavaScript, and use SameSite=Lax protection. They are not advertising cookies.

Successful renewal can replace session cookies. Server-side expiry or revocation may end access earlier. Signing out clears these cookies from the browser. Passwords and account tokens are not stored in browser local storage. During email verification, a temporary verifier stays in the page's memory until the flow ends or the page closes.
Hosting and security
OpenAI Sites, Render and Cloudflare deliver and protect the website and API. Turnstile security checks use browser signals to help prevent abuse; pre-clearance is disabled for Amper’s widget. Depending on their active security features and your visit, the hosting layer may use cookies for functions such as bot protection, challenge verification or routing. These are managed by the hosting services, not by the notice’s dismissal button.
Cookie names and lifetimes vary with the provider’s configuration. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation and OpenAI’s cookie policy. These documents describe provider technologies generally; not every cookie they list is necessarily set on this site.
Analytics and advertising
Our current page code does not include Google Analytics, advertising pixels, session replay, embedded social feeds or A/B testing. If we add optional tracking, we will explain it and provide the required choices before it runs.
Song ordering and server records
The initial song order is an editorial selection, not a ranking built from tracking your visits. Account gear, tone history, match usage and recovery backups are stored on our servers or by our providers; they are not browser cookies. Deleting cookies does not delete an account, reset its match allowance or remove saved server records. See the privacy policy’s retention section for those records.
03 Your controls
You can reopen the information panel from “Cookie information” in the footer, or use the button below. Reopening it does not change your stored acknowledgement.
To remove the acknowledgement, clear this website’s local storage or site data in your browser settings, or use “Reset notice” below. The reset button removes only Amper’s notice acknowledgement; it does not clear provider cookies or your browser’s other data.
Your browser also lets you inspect, block or delete cookies. Blocking account or hosting security cookies can prevent sign-in or access to protected pages. You can still browse the public library without an account. The written information on this page remains available without JavaScript.
04 External services
Google Fonts supplies this website’s typography. Loading an external resource involves a network request even when no advertising cookie is used. Google receives connection information such as your IP address and browser information.
Album artwork loads directly from Apple Music and artist image services. These image requests send connection information to the image provider; Amper omits the page referrer. Your browser may cache artwork according to its settings and the provider’s response. Source links appear on song details.
Instagram and email links open separate services only when you select them. Their privacy and storage settings apply once you use those services.
